Dear Ventura Film Festival Volunteers and Filmmakers,

I would like to thank everyone who came to the first volunteer meeting for the 2009 Ventura Film Festival. It was a great success with 12 volunteers who spent more than an hour discussing important issues relating to the Ventura Film Fetival. We talked about a number of important issues that will help put the Ventura Film Festival on the right track for 2009!

Important topics were:

1) the need to more tightly define what the Ventura Film Festival is
2) the need to define of what the July 5th event will consist
2) the need to define how exactly we will sell tickets and get sponsors

We have another meeting this comming Friday at the same location and same time:
